2nd stimulus payment
I received $14.95 in my checking account from the IRS on Jan 2, 2021. Is this my stimulus payment? Also do they use your gross income or taxable income to determine who gets stimulus and which year 2019 or 2020. Thank you

Your stimulus payment is based on your Adjusted Gross Income. Read this article to see how that is calculated.
BUT that number truly seems like a mistake. If you think it is, based on your AGI, when you file your taxes for 2020 next month, use line 30 to demand a recalculation and a refundable credit.
