3rd stimulus check
Hi Terry, we filed our 2020 taxes early online, hoping the IRS would use that info for our 3rd stimulus. We also have direct deposit. So far nothing has come. We did not receive the 2nd stimulus because the IRS had not processed our 2019 taxes, which we filed last April 2020. So in order to try to get the 3rd stimulus, we made sure to file early. Are other people running into this problem? We did everything right. We check the IRS regularly but there has no change in the status. This is very frustrating!! Please advise!

Did you qualify based on income on your 2019 return? If so your stimulus should come soon. But keep watchign your mail for an envelope with either a debit card or a stimulus check.
If you did not qualify based on 2019 income, then they will go through and look for your 2020 return. I hope you filed electronically, or it could take awhile. When it is processed you’ll get the check — direct deposit if you gave that info.
Patience will truly be a virtue in this case.
