403 b Fixed to Market?
Hi Terry,
I retired in June after 36 years as a Public School teacher. I have a little over 500,000 in a 403b. It is at a fixed rate, 3%. I have the option through Corebridge to change the fixed annuity to a target mutual fund. My Corebridge provider seems to think this would still be conservative and provide more growth. I am not using this money. I am comfortable living on my pension.
Do you have an opinion or advice on the potential move?
Thank you!

Go through the process of talking with a fee-only fiduciary. No commitment. This is the kind of advice you need. You might not need the money now, but guaranteed you’ll need it in the future.
