I retired a couple years ago and still have this plan at my old job ( under fidelity) Fo I need to take minimal withdrawals as I’ll soon be 72. Do I or should I switch it out of employer for fidelity to handle Should I put part in an IRA if I keep it with fidelity ? Not sure what to do ..

Read this article — and then ask Fidelity to do a rollover into an IRA. It will be easier to calculate your RMD (they will do it for you) — and you can select some more conservative investments, such as part in a money market fund, and part in an equity-income fund.
