403b plan — Rollover?

By Terry Savage on March 19, 2020 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Hi Terry I have 403b plan I’m 53 I do not contribute to it any more and I was wonder should I put it in where it would be safe and get the guaranteed interest for now ?

Thanks

If you are no longer employed with this organization, you should ask Fidelity or Vanguard to help you do a rollover and start by putting it in a money market fund. But if you are still working there, you can’t roll it over. Instead, start contributing now. You’ll get some real bargains. And you have a long enough time horizon to make investing worthwhile.
