Been following you for years, read all your books. Terrific. Today’s column identified several ways to protect your digital “self”. One more is to have your credit card issue you a virtual card, especially for online purchases.

Not sure how that helps much. If you don’t carry a physical card, it becomes “virtual”. But when you use it, the info is exposed online. So a lot depends on secure communications whenever you use your card for a purchase — no matter where you use it!
