6-month t bill interest
Hi, I just bought a 6-month t-bill for $200,000. Today, they took out $195,707 from my checking account. That’s only about 2% interest when the rate on the treasury direct site is about 4.4%. Where is the difference? Is it paid at maturity? Thanks!
