I’m 65, still working ft, where should i invest $300k for my best return so I can retire in 3 years.
I have $900 pension and SS that will be $3k at 68 1/2.

I think this is the perfect time for you to meet with an overall financial planner– not a salesperson! — who you can trust. Please use this link on my website to get matched with a fee-only FIDUCIARY financial planner who will discuss your entire situation.
You need to think about delaying SS as long as possible–until age 70 — to get a much larger check. Your pension is a fixed amount — and at only 3% inflation, its spending power will be cut in half in 25 years –about your life expectancy.

So, while you don’t want to lose money in the stock market, at least some needs to be invested there to offset inflation. Please read the recent column on that subject at my website.
