Accessibility ID expiration roadblock

By Terry Savage on October 07, 2022 | Chicken Money

Today, I was applying to open an account to purchase I-bonds. When I filled out the form with SS , bank routing, account Nos., and Illinois ID, it wouldn’t accept my ID expiration date. My Illinois ID expiration as listed on my card is 99/99/999. my ID card is for a handicapped person. As I no longer can drive, I no longer have a drivers license. How can I continue past this roadblock??

I just heard back from my contact at Treasury. He says to leave that expiration date blank and you should have no problem. It is not a “required” field!
Pls write back if you still have a problem after doing this.
