How do I research a new financial advisor. My current advisor that I have been with for a very long time seems to be blowing me off. I met with him a few weeks ago and asked him to reposition some investments due to stagnation for 3 years. I asked him to ladder some CDs with about 300k. Haven’t heard back from him. What should I do?

You should definitely change “advisors” — This one probably charges big commissions, except they can’t do that on CDs! Thus, the avoidance.
