amended tax return
As of June 13 last year we amended our return and had no response.
We call many times and the only automated response we got was we have received it.
What else can we do.

I assume you’re talking about your Federal tax return. And I assume that you’re not waiting for a refund? If you are, it could take a while. But don’t keep calling. Create an IRS account, so you can see exactly what the phone agent is seeing!
