What’s your what’s your opinion of fixed annuities? Is this a good option with nearing retirement?

If you want to get a check a month for life, or for yourlife and that of your spouse, there is nothing like a fixed, immediate annuity. BUT, remember that you may live 25 years in retirement. And in that period, with only 3%inflation, the buying power of that fixed monthly check will be cut in half!!!
