Back pay and increased monthly because of personal pension.
Why is Railroad Retirement holding on to my increased social security monthly payment. I have contacted social security and they told me that my increased monthly and back pay was sent to RR
in March. When will they finally send it to our bank account? I have contacted them and they keep saying they’re backlogged. Our monthly checks are electronically sent to our bank account so why can’t this also be done that way. My wife worked for RR that’s why we collect through them. Can you help in any way? Thank you.

I checked because I know the RR retirement board is a separate issue for the Fairness Act.

There are a lot of moving parts here, including how many quarters of work you had that were also covered by SS. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help.
