Bear Market
Terry, I understand the points of your recent articles, but feel that they lend to fear a very dangerous thing for an investor. Personally I have 20 years to go and you have said that someone like me should keep investing as normal. My ultimate end game tho is not to sell any principal from my stocks just use the dividends to supplement whatever social security I receive.
This can be done by buying high quality companies and monitoring the payout ratio and debt levels. Basically ignoring the daily whims of Mr. Market.

I think this is going to get very ugly. Please keep this note and remind yourself that your plan is to ride it out for 20 years. I have no doubt you will come out ahead — unless you give in to your emotions!
