Cant redeem Ibond
On 1-05-23 I. Bought an IBond for $5000. It earned $204 at 3.79% I wanted to redeem and buy Tbills at 17weeks, but as I go to holdings select IBond then go to manage, select redeem securities, it says I do not have any securities to redeem. I’ve tried all day and don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Help

You got all the way through to your “current holdings” page, and then clicked on that bond holding, and when you clicked “redeem” at the bottom of the page, it wouldn’t go through?
Please write back to the email you receive saying your question is answered, giving your full name on the account and your phone number, so I can pass it on.
But you might want to think twice about that strategy. You’re facing a 3-months loss of interest penalty, and T-bill rates are coming down!
