If I purchase a car now or before President Trump signs into office, will I still pay a tariff?
Also, if I buy a car that’s in the USA already, will I pay a tariff on it?

There is no tariff until it goes into effect. If ever. And if it does, then domestic manufacturers will likely also increase their prices.
So if you want to buy a car in the coming months, you’re likely to get your best deal from a car that is on the dealers lot before year-end.
