CD Rate
Hi Terry, I see online that I can get a CD from Patriot Bank paying 6% for 90 days. It sounds too good to be true, is it?

Make sure it is an FDIC-insured CD, with no obligation to keep it there for another term, at likely a below- market rate. Banks play all kinds of games to attract deposits. But there is no “free toaster”!
I would avoid this on principle.
