Certifying for UI benefits
I received a notice that I have been accepted for unemployment. But I didn’t know about the certification process. So 30 days have passed and I never certified. And now they’re asking me to call the 800 number but have not been able to get ahold of anyone. Should I just re apply for UI?

First, keep trying to call. There is a new call center open this week, and that should help.
Second, yes try to refile. Maybe it will give you a new phone number to call.
