Changing my will –just add a note?

By Terry Savage on December 28, 2022 | Wild Card

To change my will (beneficiary/executor) do I need a lawyer? Does the change need to be notarized? Can I just hand write & initial the change on the original will?
Thank you.

Terry Says

No you CANNOT just write a note by hand!!! You will cause an expensive and time-consuming legal battle when you’re gone.
Go to an estate planning attorney to make changes. Find one in this specialty here: https://www.lawyers.com/find-a-lawyer/
