Co-signed student loan — a scam?
Hello, I have a student loan that I do not remember cosigning for someone. I’m having trouble with finding out any information about this loan because I’m not the initial borrower. Do you know of a way that I could track this down and make sure it’s legitimate. I don’t have an account number or a persons name or Social Security who is attached to the loan thank you.

Who is telling you that you HAVE a student loan? This definitely could be part of a scam to get you to make payments on a loan you do not have. Please write back to the email that you receive, saying your question has been answered, and give me more details on how you “learned” you owe money!!!
