Terry, Always enjoy your articles. I co-authored a book, The Burning Platform” when debt was about 16 trillion. What is happening now we predicted 12 years ago. Because our government is spending more than it takes in, our standard of living in all areas, not just housing, is sinking, slowly one step at a time on the way to a very sad ending – our elected officials know this too – a few like Ron Johnson and Rick Scott know this very well but they need others meaning the American public to get on board and demand to get the boat righted. Problem is not DC. It is all of us who do not pick up the phone and write and hold elected officials accountable.
