Covid 19- Unemployment Benefits

I always listen to you on WGN 720. You are awesome! My question: If, and when there is an extension to UI Benefits, will the amount backtrack to when the Benefits expired on August 1st? Or will the extension begin on an agreed future date.

That depends on whether Congress can get together to pass an extension — and/or whether the Exsecutive Order from the President goes into effect. We haven’t yet seen details of either.
