covid/unemployment
Hi I was laid off due to covid 19 on 6/24/2020. I have received covid money with my unemployment. However my former employer reduced everyones hours to 35 per week on 3/15/2020 can I get compensation for those hours ? Its only about 40 hours but will help.
Thanks
Steve

Yes, you can definitely apply for benefits based on reduced hours back to March. But it is a long process for them to determine if the reduction is enough to warrant benefits, and how much. But if you DO get benefits, then you would get the extra $600/week. So it is definitely worth a try!
