Dependent Child Over 17 Stimulus Payment

I have a 22 year old son who is in college. I claimed him as a dependent on my 2019 return. His low earnings did not require him to file a return this year. Am I correct in understanding that neither him or I will receive the $500 stimulus payment originally promised?
