EOBs — Drowning in Paperwork!
Dear Ms. Savage, How long should I keep Medicare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield EOBs? My husband is 93, and I am 87. We are drowning in paperwork. Thank you for helping.

Hah! You picked the wrong person to ask! I just looked down at one of my filing drawers and I have a very FAT folder with all my EOBs! They date back to 2018! You embarassed me into shredding the oldest ones. You don’t need them now — Just keep the previous year. Thanks for the nudge!-
