Federal interest withheld??
My Chase Bank checking and savings accounts statements in the passed few months have a transaction withdrawal saying Federal Interest Withheld .01 in checking and .47 for savings. I’ve called Chase Bank and got Two responses. One she didn’t know and gave me the IRS number. The other response was they were conducting an audit and will be corrected when they’re done. Have you ever heard of this happening or how I should proceed?
