federal tax return — overdue refund
I mailed my federal tax return on 3/31/2020 and have not received my refund yet and when I call to check on it, there is no information on file. Should I be concerned and/or remail another return? The phone number that I have is only automated and there is no option to speak to a human.

There are no humans! That’s the problem! The IRS is just calling people back to work and they are swamped dealing with the stimulus payments.
Your paper return came in just as they were furloughed. But be patient. The will get around to getting your refund — likely by the end of July!
