Fiduciary wants me to buy annuity

By Terry Savage on July 03, 2023 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Terry,
I have 400k with a fiduciary. I’m 64 years old female. My home is worth 800k. I have NO DEBT.
Like everyone else I lost money this past year. The fiduciary’s solution is to put 300k with Fidelity & Growth fixed annuity
This company has 40 complaints this past year with the BBB.
Please help me!

I’m guessing this person is NOT a fiduciary investment advisor! Did he/she put this in writing — that they act as a FIDUCIARY advisor? Guessing not!

So you need a different fiduciary advisor — one who really is not looking for commissions but only charges a flat fee for a plan. Find one at Wealthramp.com — either go directly or read this article on my website.

I am not against annuities, but good for you for doing research. Whether the complaints were about the annuity or the advisor, this is a big RED FLAG. Stay away from both!
