Hi! We have a few thousand dollars extra available every month after making monthly payments on loans and credit cards. We would like advice on whether to put more in retirement and/or paying bills off. Is there someone you can recommend to us? Thank you very much.

I don’t need to refer you to anyone. For SURE, pay down those outstanding bills. You are paying interest on those balances at a much higher rate than you could safely earn elsewhere.
Then, please write back when all your balances are zero — and I’ll give you more advice!
