Financial Advisor

How can I find a financial advisor who is not trying to sell me something? I would rather pay them some kind of hourly or flat rate to give me advice as to how to organize/invest my assets than to have them give me “free” advice, but they’re trying to sell me something to get a commission. I’m retired & have less than $500K, but do have something — I would like someone to look all my accounts over and give me advice re investment, etc., — looking for someone with legal “fiduciary” status.
