Ask Terry Questions Financial Advisor Fees

Financial Advisor Fees

By Terry Savage on December 31, 2022 | Financial Planning / Retirement

I have a financial advisor that charges me a monthly fee for my IRA, Roth IRA and TOD accounts. Until recently I paid my Roth IRA fee from my taxable account. My taxable account is now depleted. Going forward, should I pay my Roth IRA fee from the Roth IRA? Or should I move funds from my IRA to my taxable account, have taxes withheld and then pay my Roth IRA fees from my taxable account? I assume I should pay the fees from my Roth IRA. Thank you for your help Terry. John
