Financial investments with Morgan Stanley

I’m asking on behalf of my older Mother.
She’s concerned that her investment company is running up fees for their own benefit.
I don’t know if this is actually true or not.
I wanted to find someone to discuss it with her who is independent from the situation to calm her mind or maybe get advice on changing her investment situation in some way.
