financial options
Good Morning,
I have a 1 time decision to make with my finances, and I would like to talk to someone who knows all my options. It involves the equity in my house, my debt, and my goal of getting debt free. I looked up credit counselors, but i dont think they fit what I am looking for. Is there such a person I can give all my financial information too, tell them what I am looking for, and let them review and then discuss with me? I am not looking for retirement planning, or someone trying to sell me anything. Just options. Thanks for reading

Well, I always recommend starting with a session with a credit counselor. You can reach a trusted on at the National Foundation for Credit Counseling. Just call 800-388-2227 to be connected to the nearest local member agency. Even if you don’t take their advice, their perspective will be useful.
A fee-only financial planner will be happy to meet with you for a set fee, and in fact the first meeting should be free. You can find a search tool to FIDUCIARY fee-only advisors on my website in one of the small boxes, top right corner.
But, it appears you fall in between, since this is a one time decision. If you want me to give my opinion, without ALL the facts, send me an email to Terry@TerrySavage.com Just remember free advice is worth what you pay for it!!
