Flexible Premium Fixed Index Deferred Annuity

what is your opinion of a “Flexible premium fixed index deferred annuity”?
A financial consultant recommended that I transfer half of his TSP to this (upon retiring). The name of the company is F & G Annuities & Life ( located in Des Moines, IA).
