Fraud Protection on Treasury Bills?
I was reading your article on buying Treasury Bills through Treasury Direct as an alternative to bank CDs. I am under the impression that a bank CD offers some protection from theft by computer account takeover. Does Treasury Direct offer any protection? I called them but the answer wasn’t clear.

When you open an account at TreasuryDirect.gov you have the most secure connection possible. Unless you give away your password, you are completely safe. And even if you try to sign in from a different computer, they will text you to make sure it isn’t a breach. Don’t worry about it!
