Free file with the IRS website,
Hi Terry, I just saw you on WGN, at approximately 8:35 am, and you were promoting the IRS free and easy filing for the area viewers. However, the site is only usable for 17 states and Illinois and Indiana are not included in it. Why would you promote this to a viewing area that is ineligible! Disappointed!

No, that’s not true. I just did the search for someone while I was on air on WGN at noon yesterday. But I did notice a quirk, which I have asked the IRS about. I couldn’t get any partner names until I lowered the “income” to below $49,000! And you know freefile goes up to $79,000. I’m looking into it!
