Freefile fillable forms in queue only

By Terry Savage on March 07, 2022 | Social Security

I filed usinf free file fillable forms on the irs website. I got email stating it was received and is in queue for transmission and check in 24 to 48 hours for an email to see if it was accepted or rejected, i never got that email and it has been 15 days. Calling the irs got me nowhere. Do you know how i can find out if it was accepted or if it is stuck. They owe me a very small refund but i know they are slow at issuing them, i had wanted to owe them but i was just a tad off on that happening. I know they cash checks almost immediately. What should i do?

That email might have gone to your spam box. You can track the process of your refund at www.IRS.gov/where’s my refund

And if you still don’t have it in a few months, create your own IRS account here to track it more accurately.
