Freezing credit
I was listening to your conversation with John Williams when you said to freeze your credit. Please repeat how to go about doing that. Thank you very much! 7/29/20

It includes the names and phone numbers of each of the three credit bureaus. Ask them to FREEZE your credit. It is free, and means no one can view your credit report unless you givc specific permission.
If you’re applying for a mortgage or car loan or even a job, you’ll have to lift the freeze.
But this prevents ID theft by not allowing fraudsters to open an account in your name.
