Full time job and effects on SS benefits

By Terry Savage on December 15, 2024 | Financial Planning / Retirement

Terry,
with just my SS payments alone, I will be over the $45,000.00 of income to be taxed and that is without the income from a new job opportunity.
Is it worth taking the job? SS benefits and a new job income would put my total earnings for 2025 at over $200K.
Thanks
CD

Good for you! Especially if you really like the job! Save all the money you can! Maybe use it to buy a long term care insurance policy, if you don’t have one already. There are SO many people who wish that they could find a good-paying job in retirement.
