Future Financial issues — Gold?
although it has been referred to as a “Barbarous Relic” – do you see a time in the not too distant future when Dollars/fiat money is not acceptable for transactions and Gold/Silver/Diamonds may be the main medium of exchange (Historically I think of the Weimar Republic and the the 1930’s in Europe as examples)

I hope we don’t live to see the breakdown of our entire financial system. Maybe toilet paper would become the universal “currency”! But I do see a role for gold. Check this column I just posted.
