The outlook for the price of gold depends on inflation, the value of the dollar, and major economic factors. I personally think gold will trade higher than the current roughly $3500/ounce. But you might have to be patient! And maybe you have better things to do with your money in the meantime?

Just be sure to sell at a reputable buyer. I’d suggest getting bids from several place. And remember, your gold jewelry is likely only 14 or 18ct — not pure gold! So don’t be surprised at the value you get — unless there is some intrinsic “designer” value in your jewelry.
