Got an unexpected refund
I got a direct deposit from IRS in the amount of 1423.97 and the entry was from IRSREAS 310 TAX REF PPO, is this legit, I was not expecting any money. I was on unemployment and when i did my taxes my accountant knew that the 10.000 was not taxable. Do you know of people getting refunds now

Yes, many people are getting unexpected refunds — and it could be for any number of reasons. Perhaps it was a stimulus payment that you didn’t realize you qualified for. Perhaps it was a return of VA medical deductibles (which were returned to many people). Or perhaps your accountant forgot and had you pay taxes on that first $10,200.
So “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.” Since it was a surprise, leave it in your account for six months on the very long shot that they made a mistake! Then, enjoy.
