GPO and WEP repealed
Now that the GPO and WEP have been repealed what can I expect. I have been a teacher for 35 years. I have also worked at ssa jobs for 40 plus years. Will I receive a check from the government or some type of change in my ss benefits. I love your appearances on WGN

Thanks. If you are already collecting a reduced SS, then it will happen automatically — an increase in your monthly check, and a separate check with the adjustment for 2024.
BUT, if you are eligible for SS, but did not apply because of the WEP, then you should apply immediately.
