HELOC and remodeling plans
I will be paying off my current HELOC this month. I do have a few projects i would like to complete this year including a new fence and new flooring. We are looking to retire in 5 years and then possibly sell the house in less than 10 years. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Well, that’s all part of a planning process, which depends on your savings, your income, your retirement spending plan. It’s something you should discuss holistically with a fee-only FIDUCIARY investment advisor — who is not trying to sell you something!
