High Yield Savings Account?

What’s your thoughts on high yield savings accounts? Was considering opening one up but am wondering how long they offer you the high rate. It’s not just a ploy to get your business , is it ? Currently Capital One and American Express are offering 3.30% , much better than my local bank. Thank you.
