Hi Terry,….I’m planning on buying a home that is family owned and I am part owner. I won’t need a real estate agent, just a real estate lawyer and a mortgage company. Can you recommend a real estate lawyer and mortgage company? I live in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Thank you!

Gosh, you really need to be careful — especially since this transaction involves family! I would suggest you ask at your local bank office for an attorney who handles real estate transactions.
