My husband and I are 58 Years old and would like to know our Social Security benefits for the future. I’m so afraid to put in any of my information on just any website. What is the official legit website for finding out my Social Security benefits? I never get anything in the mail about Social Security. These days I’d be too afraid to trust it anyway.
I heard you say on the radio set up a Social Security account. So that’s what I’d like to do.

Here is a link to the spot at SocialSecurity.gov where you create your own account and find out your own earnings history and projected benefits. https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/ Just click or copy that link into your browser (on a protected computer) and you will be able to securely access your information.
