How will elections affect the markets
I am concerned about how the election results may effect the markets because I am retired. I took your advice a few months ago and moved some of my money out of the markets and that was great. Do I move mire out before the elections. I am worried how the markets will react whomever elected. As always thanks for great advice.

Well, it was good advice at the time — probably saved you a lot of worry! But now the stock markets are right back to where they were before the pandemic. They are focused on the huge supply of money and the Fed’s promise to keep it coming!

The election seems to be having little impact right now and the focus is on money and hope — hope for a vaccine, and the good news of Abbott’s new quick test.
There are no guarantees in the stock market, and I always advise having some “chicken money” on the side. It won’t make you grow rich — but it will let you sleep better!
