I bond difficulty
I have 3 times tried to purchase Ibonds and after submitting, they say try later!
Also under names on checking account, I entered my name for an individual account. No room for my wife’s name which is in account. Is only mine okay for individual account.

I think the TreasuryDirect.gov website has been swamped with all the demand for I-bonds. You can only open an individual account for yourself. Open a separate account for your wife. You can each buy $10,000 of bonds –and the money can be linked to the same checking account for each of you.
