I-Bond — new bank account
I was able to set up a Treasury Direct account & purchased an I-Bond. Happy about that but I closed the bank a/c I used for the purchase. Is that a problem? I plan to keep the bond for 5 years but how do I redeem it at that time.

In two weeks, when all this frenzy passes, go into your account at TreasuryDirect and update your banking information. Just put “change banking information” in the search bar and you’ll see how to do it. You’re good for now, if they took the money out and you made your purchase!
